How new is Resorts World Las Vegas, and does that affect the video setup?
Resorts World opened in 2021, so its convention space and AV infrastructure are newer than most Strip properties, which generally means better rigging points and network access but the same property-approval process for an outside crew.
Do we need a Clark County film permit to shoot inside Resorts World Las Vegas?
Usually not for the interior. Clark County’s film office says filming inside a building with the property owner’s agreement does not require a county film permit unless the shoot affects the public right-of-way. Inside Resorts World Las Vegas, access runs on the property’s own approval: a location agreement or event contract, a certificate of insurance naming the property, and credentials for the crew. A county permit applies once cameras move onto the sidewalk, the street, or a drone shot, and on the Strip that permit comes from unincorporated Clark County, not the City of Las Vegas.
Can we film against Resorts World’s LED displays for a brand video?
Generally yes with property approval — the property’s LED-heavy design is one of its distinguishing visual features, and we plan camera settings such as shutter angle and frame rate around the screens’ refresh rate to avoid banding on camera.
What kind of events at Resorts World typically need a video crew?
Corporate meetings and general sessions in the convention space, product or brand launches that use the property’s LED displays, and press or EPK content tied to the theater’s residency programming are the most common reasons a corporate client books a crew here.
