About Mr. Camera

How long has Mr. Camera been in business?

Mr. Camera was founded in Las Vegas in 1981 by Don and Becky Jacobs, and is now operated by their son Dan Jacobs. We've been producing professional video in Las Vegas for over 45 years — making us one of the longest-running production companies in the city.

What types of clients does Mr. Camera work with?

We primarily serve enterprise clients — including Netflix, Live Nation, MGM Resorts, Ticketmaster, and Optum — along with national PR firms, corporate marketing teams, ad agencies, and broadcast networks filming in Las Vegas. Most of our work comes from long-term client relationships and referrals.

Do you only work in Las Vegas?

Las Vegas is our home base, but we regularly crew productions across Nevada, the Southwest, and nationally. Our contractor network allows us to assemble crews in most major markets when needed.

Quotes & Scheduling

How do I get a quote?

Submit a request through our contact form with your project type, date, location, and objectives. We turn around most quotes within 24 hours — same day for urgent productions.

How much does video production cost in Las Vegas?

Production costs vary based on crew size, shoot days, equipment, and post-production complexity. A single-camera ENG day typically starts around $1,500–$2,500. Multi-camera event productions and full commercial packages are quoted individually. We provide detailed line-item estimates — no surprises.

How far in advance do I need to book?

For large multi-camera events or commercial productions, 2–4 weeks is ideal. That said, we handle same-day and next-day bookings regularly for ENG crews and smaller productions. For urgent needs, call us directly.

Do you require a deposit?

For larger productions, we typically require a deposit to hold the date and crew. Terms are outlined clearly in our production agreement and discussed before any contract is signed.

On Set & In Production

What cameras do you use?

Our primary cameras are the Sony FX9 and FX6 — professional cinema cameras used across broadcast, commercial, and corporate productions. We own our gear, so there are no rental surprises or last-minute substitutions.

Do you provide audio and lighting?

Yes. All packages include broadcast-quality audio and professional LED lighting. ENG packages include wireless lavs, boom, and stick lighting. EFP packages include a full grip and lighting kit.

Can you do same-day delivery?

Yes — for EPK/VNR packages and event coverage, same-day delivery is available with an onsite editor. We also regularly deliver broadcast-ready packages same day for PR and news-driven productions. Let us know your deadline at booking.

How many cameras can you deploy for a multi-camera production?

We regularly run 3–12 camera configurations with ISO recording on every camera for maximum editorial flexibility. Camera count is determined by your venue layout, production type, and deliverable requirements.

Post-Production & Delivery

Do you handle post-production?

Yes. Mr. Camera offers full post-production including editing, color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, captioning, and multi-format delivery. We can also deliver raw footage to your in-house or agency team if preferred.

What formats do you deliver in?

We deliver in any format your distribution requires — broadcast masters (ProRes, MXF), web-compressed H.264/H.265, social media cuts (16:9, 1:1, 9:16), and platform-specific specs. Specify your delivery requirements at quoting and they're built into scope from day one.

How long does post-production take?

A single-camera corporate interview typically turns around in 3–5 business days. Multi-camera event edits and commercial productions are scoped individually. Rush delivery is available and should be requested at booking.
