Yes. We have produced for MGM Resorts and MGM Grand, and we plan ARIA shoots around the same load-in, insurance, and credentialing process used across MGM’s Strip properties.
Do we need a Clark County film permit to shoot inside ARIA?
Usually not for the interior. Clark County’s film office says filming inside a building with the property owner’s agreement does not require a county film permit unless the shoot affects the public right-of-way. Inside ARIA, access runs on the property’s own approval: a location agreement or event contract, a certificate of insurance naming the property, and credentials for the crew. A county permit applies once cameras move onto the sidewalk, the street, or a drone shot, and on the Strip that permit comes from unincorporated Clark County, not the City of Las Vegas.
What kind of events at ARIA typically need a video crew?
Executive meetings, product launches, and general sessions in the convention center are the most common bookings, usually paired with an executive interview or a same-day recap edit.
Is ARIA’s convention center different from a Strip casino ballroom?
ARIA’s convention space is purpose-built for corporate meetings rather than repurposed casino ballroom space, which generally means better rigging points and a more predictable AV feed, but the same MGM Resorts insurance and credentialing process applies.
