Plan Your Venetian Expo ShootThe Venetian Expo is one of the highest-traffic event properties in Las Vegas, running back-to-back major shows across its ballrooms and expo halls for most of the year. Each show sets its own credentialing, drayage, and exhibitor-appointed-contractor rules — video is rarely restricted, but registering an outside crew correctly avoids a dock delay or a badge problem on day one. A county film permit only comes into play once cameras move outside onto the sidewalk or street; for booth and show-floor work inside the building, access runs through the show’s own credentialing and our certificate of insurance.

What shows are held at The Venetian Expo?
The Venetian Expo hosts major recurring conventions including Money20/20 (Oct 18–21, 2026), G2E (Sep 28–Oct 1, 2026), Adobe Summit, and Dell Technologies World, plus portions of CES and AWS re:Invent in years those shows span multiple campuses. Each show sets its own exhibitor rules, so we confirm the current year’s credentialing before a shoot.
Do we need a Clark County film permit to shoot inside The Venetian Expo?
Usually not for the interior. Clark County’s film office says filming inside a building with the property owner’s agreement does not require a county film permit unless the shoot affects the public right-of-way. Inside The Venetian Expo, access runs on the property’s own approval: a location agreement or event contract, a certificate of insurance naming the property, and credentials for the crew. A county permit applies once cameras move onto the sidewalk, the street, or a drone shot, and on the Strip that permit comes from unincorporated Clark County, not the City of Las Vegas.
Can an exhibitor bring an outside video crew to their own booth, or is there an exclusive vendor?
Photography and video of your own booth is generally allowed; the show’s general service contractor typically holds exclusivity over electrical, rigging, and material handling, not over video itself, but an outside crew still has to register as an exhibitor-appointed contractor under that show’s rules. We handle that registration as part of the shoot.
Does filming another exhibitor’s booth require permission?
Generally yes — recording another company’s booth or products at a trade show typically requires that exhibitor’s permission, per most major shows’ published rules, so our coverage plan sticks to your own booth, stage time, and any areas your event credential covers.
